I always know to expect that fall is the busy season, but this year has been a doozy. two weddings, countless mini sessions, and my trusty laptop deciding to retire in the middle of it all. wheeeee! there are still a few more sessions on my calendar for 2018... but the finish line is in sight. i am very much looking forward to some downtime at the end of december to spend with my children and husband, who are too often neglected while i spend evenings and weekends taking care of my clients. i'm grateful for their support - without it, i couldn't do what i love.  i love being a family photographer.   thank you for trusting me to capture your memories. i can't wait to see you in 2019.

it's been brought to my attention that my website hasn't been updated in awhile, so i'm here to say HI!  admittedly, i've been slacking on the blog a bit. not great for search engine optimization, but good for the soul. i've been keeping busy churning out spring and summer sessions, while also enjoying the warm weather with my kiddos, working at the neighborhood farmers market, and doing all of the other things that keep a mama busy. if you're ever wondering what i'm up to, head on over to my Facebook page which i have been keeping up with more diligently.  i promise to post my fall mini session schedule here, and  existing clients : keep an eye on your inbox - you'll get a first alert before i publicly post those dates! happy summer, y'all.

Rachael and Justin took a chance on me when I was just getting started. Engagement photos (when I was only 6 months into this photography business thing), followed by wedding photos, newborn portraits, and Adele's 1st birthday party....  We missed out on maternity photos the first time around because Adele graced the world with her presence earlier than anticipated. So when Rachael told me she was expecting again and wanted to get those maternity photos -- YASSS!!!  I'm so honored to have been trusted to document their milestones as a family, and I can't wait to meet the newest member!
